Quality control in any CPA firm can never be taken for granted. It requires a continuing commitment to professional excellence. BRENT MILLIKAN & COMPANY, P.A. has been formally dedicated to that commitment for over thirty years.
In 1979, our firm’s partners recognized the long-term significance of developing a formal quality control program. In an effort to continue to maintain the standards of working excellence required by our firm, BM&C joined the Private Companies Practice Section (PCPS) of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. To be a participating member firm, you must obtain an independent compliance review of its quality control policies and procedures to ascertain the firm's compliance with existing auditing standards on the applicable engagements. The scope of the peer review is comprehensive in that it specifically reviews the quality control policies and procedures of the participating firm's accounting and auditing practice, including their work product in various client industries. We believe that our commitment to the program has been rewarding not only to our firm, but primarily to our clients.

The external independent peer review of the elements of our quality control policies and procedures performed by an independent certified public accountant selected by the AICPA provides both us and our clients with the assurance that we continue to conform with the standards of the profession in the conduct of our accounting and auditing practice.
In October 2010, Brent Millikan & Company, P.A. completed a voluntarily requested peer review. This comprehensive accounting and auditing practice review included a representative sample of all our firm's auditing, review and compilation engagements in a wide diversity of individual business industries. | |

| At the conclusion of the engagement, BM&C completed its tenth consecutive tri-annual reporting period, representing 30 continuous years of being a member of the voluntary peer review program. We are extremely proud of our continued and successful participation in this very important practice and quality control program. |
